climate-conf-12Oct2019-A4-v2London weekend

In February members of Tower Hamlets and the City enjoyed a weekend by the sea with other London members learning about national campaigns and campaigning more close to home in London. We were really please to have new members Daisy and Marjia come to the weekend with us.

“I really loved the atmosphere overall, very welcoming, friendly and insightful. The workshops and discussions were well thought out and tailored to the needs of new members too. A fantastic opportunity to meet other teachers outside of school and have some really light hearted yet useful conversations” -Marjia NQT NEU member

Young Teachers Conference

The Young Teachers Conference provides young teachers with the opportunity to meet and network with other young teachers from across England and Wales. It aims to support young teachers already active in the NEU and to encourage other young teachers to become active within the NEU.

The conference is open to all in-service NEU members aged 35 or under. Student members of the NEU are not eligible to attend.

Participants who meet the above criteria may be nominated by local associations and divisions or they may apply as individual members. Young teacher members who are interested in attending the Young Teachers Conference should contact their local association secretary.
